In a team of 6, we were given the problem of designing a better book stand for a library. The current system involved creating a custom book mount out of matboard for every single book, each time. 12 of these bookstands were then created for the client, and are now being used in their latest book exhibit.

Design and prototyping of an amusement-park style drop tower ride. Work included mechanical lifting and controlled descent mechanisms, motor control using L293D drivers, prototype testing, and safety feature design and validation.
