For the UT24 Cooling system, the main goal was to optimize the design and reduce weight. A multi-approach method was used, starting with analytical calculations for the radiator. From this, the overall heat transfer coefficient was determined and validated with experimental data. A StarCCM+ model of the radiator was then validated against both analytical and experimental data, providing a reliable way to validate sidepods and the effectiveness of the cooling loop design.
